Editing 3 - Brightness, Contrast and Colour Balance
This tip addresses the visual elements of your photo, and how people will perceive your photo.
Whether the colours are bright and too contrasting or dull and subdued can change the mood of the viewer.
Alternatively, you may want to get the viewers' attention by using a different colour balance than what they might expect.

There are numerous reasons why you might want to change the brightness, contrast and colour balance of a photo:
- An image is too light or too dark when viewed on a computer.
- An image is too light or too dark when printed.
- Contract between light and dark areas is too soft or too harsh.
- Colours are too strong or too weak and don’t look real.
- Colours look wrong and create a false image.
- You intentionally want to create a false image for effect.
- You just want to have the best image that you can.
