Composition 6 - Framing
It doesn't matter what sort of camera you use, but following a few simple guidelines can generally improve your photos.
In this tip we will talk about "Framing".
|
Framing utilises elements within your scene to create a focal point within your image.
For example, through a window, a doorway, pulled back curtains, branches of a tree, fences and gateways, bridges and tunnels, or arches, etc.
The options are only limited by your imagination and the surroundings.
Adding a focal point through framing shows a viewer exactly where to look.
In many situations the frame may be partially or completely out of focus - the important point is to ensure your subject is in focus, and your camera is not being fooled by the frame.

This provides a much wider range of images than we could show here.
